Dr Tofiq Bohra represents a new generation of surgeons redefining Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery through a philosophy of precision with function—prioritizing natural movement, facial harmony, and long-term joint health alongside surgical correction. With over 15 years of surgical experience, his practice is focused on minimally invasive maxillofacial surgery, particularly in temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, facial trauma, and craniofacial reconstruction. An Indian Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr Bohra has received advanced international training in TMJ arthroscopy and total joint replacement through the TMJ Mini Residency at the University of Maryland, USA. His academic journey further includes fellowships in Cleft & Craniofacial Surgery and Pain Medicine. TMJ arthroscopy remains a highly specialized discipline, with only a limited number of surgeons in India performing this minimally invasive joint procedure. Dr Bohra’s work is centered on integrating arthroscopic and endoscopic techniques to enable complex interventions through smaller access points—enhancing recovery while preserving joint function. Beyond clinical excellence, he is an invited international speaker and educator, actively conducting workshops, seminars, and keynote sessions on TMJ arthroscopy and contemporary maxillofacial innovations. He also serves as international faculty at the Cairo TMJ Academy, Egypt, where he leads annual hands-on training programs. Committed to social impact, Dr Bohra contributes to charitable cleft and craniofacial initiatives in Mumbai, delivering transformative surgical care to underserved populations.
